Finally It Looks Like It's Over For Cuomo
A new leak and a new accuser should be the end of disgraced and quite creepy New York Governor Andrew Cuomo. This time the woman has photographic proof and it looks bad for Cuomo.
Sherry Vill described in great detail today how Gov. Andrew Cuomo grabbed her face, “manhandled” her and forcibly kissed her in a “highly sexual manner” while looking at her flood-damaged home. She leaked a photo of the aggressive kiss and look you do not kiss someone like this you just met – grabbing the back of their necks – unless there was something else going on. It is lights out for Cuomo.
“The whole thing was so strange and inappropriate and still makes me nervous and afraid because of his power and position,” she said. “I am still afraid of him, but I am no longer willing to remain silent.”
“He said, ‘That’s what Italians do, kiss both cheeks,’” recalled Vill.
“I felt shocked and didn’t understand what had just happened,” said Vill. “But I knew I felt embarrassed and weird about his kissing me. I am Italian, and in my family, family members kiss. Strangers do not kiss, especially upon meeting someone for the first time.”
As he left, Cuomo “stopped, turned and said, ‘You are beautiful,’” according to Vill.
“That made me feel even more uncomfortable,” said Vill. “I felt as though he was coming on to me in my own home.”
“I felt like I was being manhandled, especially because he was holding my face and he was kissing my cheek again,” said Vill.
“The way he looked at me and his body language made me very uncomfortable. I felt he was acting in a highly flirtatious and inappropriate manner, especially in front of my family and neighbors.”
“He towered over me,” she said. “There was nothing I could do.”
“I know the difference between an innocent gesture and a sexual one,” she said. “I never felt as uncomfortable as I did the day that Gov. Cuomo came to my home. His actions were very overly sexual, highly inappropriate and disrespectful to me and my family.”
A few days later, a member of Cuomo’s staff left Vill a voicemail asking her to attend an upcoming event with Cuomo, Vill said.
“Notably, the staffer did not say ‘my husband and I,’ or ‘my family and I,’” said Vill. “Only specifically me.”
From The Daily Mail:
She said that after the initial kissing on her cheeks, he kissed her on another cheek again in front of the house and told her she was beautiful.
‘He leaned down on top of me, he forcibly grabbed my face and kissed my cheek – again in a very aggressive manner – I felt like I was being manhandled.
‘I couldn’t use my other hand to stop him. I was holding my dog with my other and the way he looked at me. I felt he was acting in a highly flirtatious and inappropriate manner. There was nothing I could do.
‘I felt as though he was coming on to me in my own home,’ she said.
After the initial visit, she said she received a letter from Cuomo’s office with photos of the pair that his office took, and that he invited her to an event. She said no one else in the family was invited and that it raised ‘alarm bells’.
Vill is not pressing charges nor is she suing. She said she only wants to cooperate with the Attorney General’s investigation into him and that she feels what happened to her should be included in it.
She is a businesswoman, mother-of-three and has been married for years, Allred said.
She is the ninth woman to accuse the embattled governor of sexual misconduct.
