Marjorie Taylor Greene Calls For Maxine Waters’ Expulsion From Congress Over Minnesota Comments
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-G ic calling for Rep. Maxine Waters to be expelled from Congress after she went to Minnesota and told protesters to “get more confrontational” if Derek Chauvin is acquitted.
“I’ll be introducing a resolution to expel Rep. Maxine Waters from Congress for her continual incitement of violence. As a sitting United States Congresswoman, Rep. Maxine Waters threatened a jury demanding a guilty verdict and threatened violence if Chauvin is found not guilty. This is also an abuse of power,” Taylor Greene wrote in a statement.
Many other Republicans were not happy with Maxine’s comments. “The Radical Left don’t care if your towns are burning, if there’s violence in your streets, or if the police are too defunded to defend their communities. As long as the Left appeases their anti-America base, their job is done,” Rep. Andy Biggs, R-Ariz., said.
“Telling rioters who have burned buildings, looted stores, and assaulted journalists to get ‘more confrontational’ is incredibly irresponsible. Every House Democrat should condemn Maxine Waters’ call for violence,” National Republican Congressional Committee spokesman Mike Berg said.
“Why is Maxine Waters traveling to a different state trying to incite a riot? What good can come from this?” Rep. Lauren Boebert, R-Colo., said.
Kevin McCarthy wrote:
“Maxine Waters is inciting violence in Minneapolis — just as she has incited it in the past. If Speaker Pelosi doesn’t act against this dangerous rhetoric, I will bring action this week.”
Maxine said on MSNBC:
“We have to give support to our young people who are struggling and trying to make this justice system work for everybody. They see their peers being killed. Minneapolis is a great example of what’s wrong with the criminal justice system, what’s wrong with policing.”
“I wanted to be there as auntie Maxine to show them, not only do I love them and support them, but they can count on me to be with them at this terrible time in all of our lives.”
Green also issued a petition in an attempt to gather signatures to send to other Representatives. The petition reads:
“I’m introducing a resolution to expel Maxine Waters from Congress! Sign your petition and urge your elected officials to join my resolution!
For years, Maxine Waters has incited BLM/Antifa violence and riots.
After traveling across state lines to incite riots, her orders recorded on video last night at the Brooklyn Center, directly led to more violence and a drive-by shooting on National Guardsmen in Minnesota early this morning.
