Lindsey Graham Publicly Calls For ‘Draft Trump’ Movement For 2024 WH Campaign
Sen. Lindsay Graham (R-S.C.) is calling for a ‘draft Trump’ movement to help former President Donald Trump decide to run again in the critical 2024 election. “I miss Donald Trump,” Graham said.
“I hope he’s considering running. Let’s start a draft Trump movement. He’s the one guy I think can go to the American people and say, Let me finish what I started. What I did worked,” Graham told Sean Hannity last night.
“Joe Biden’s overwhelmed by the job of being president,” he said. “The left has lost its mind. There’s more fentanyl that crossed the border this time in 2021 than in all of 2020. Israel is under the gun — 3,500 rockets fired by Palestinian militants. Where is it coming from? Iran.”
“To the Biden administration, you would be insane to start negotiating with Iran as long as they’re still the largest state sponsor of terrorism.”
“So I am very worried about our national security. I’m very worried about our border here at home. 2022’s gonna be a hell of an election,” he said.
Lindsey also went after the Squad – Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Rashida Tlaib, and Ayanna Pressley.
“Israel provides more actual intelligence to the United States to keep us safe than probably any single country in the world. They’re a democracy. Hamas is a terrorist organization under our law,” Graham said.
“The Squad is with the terrorists. I’m with the democracy called Israel,” he added.
“I have never been more worried about where the Democratic Party is going regarding Israel than I am now. But this makes my blood boil,” the Republican added.
“Clearly, Hamas is not afraid of the Biden administration. Do you think Hamas would have shot 2,000 rockets on Trump’s watch?” Graham asked in response.
“This is not about both sides. This about imbalance of power,” Ocasio-Cortez said.
Tlaib said, “We need to stop and look at the fact that our own country is enabling this with billions of dollars every year being issue to Israel, even though they are promoting racism and dehumanization.”
“The pain, trauma, and terror that Palestinians are facing is not just the result of this week’s escalation but the consequence of years of military occupation,” Pressley said.
