Trump Urges COVID Vaccine Is Safe and Can Be Trusted

The coronavirus has dominated nationwide headlines for quite some time and will keep doing so in the foreseeable future.

During this month alone, Biden has tried multiple times to claim credit for former President Trump’s work on the vaccine against coronavirus. In spite of the false narrative being spun by the current president, Trump’s Operation Warp Speed program got the COVID-19 vaccine into development, production, and distribution; Biden came along after a significant portion of work on the COVID-19 already finished.

Trump on Getting Vaccinated Against COVID-19

On Fox News yesterday, former President Trump spoke about his administration’s work on the coronavirus vaccine.

Trump noted that during his tenure as president, he instructed the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to fast track the vaccine; this, therefore, resulted in the completion of the coronavirus vaccine in nine months time rather than five years. It is also very important for Americans to know that it was Trump, not Biden, who got things rolling on the COVID-19 vaccine.

The former president then informed Fox News that the coronavirus vaccine has a 95% effectiveness rate; shortly thereafter, Trump professed that the vaccine against COVID-19 is saving the United States and the rest of the world at large.

The Stamp of Approval from Trump

Before Trump’s interview with Fox News ended yesterday, he did, in fact, recommend the coronavirus vaccine.

The former president, who has already gotten the coronavirus vaccine, attested that the vaccine is “safe,” “great,” and to be trusted. Trump also stated that he recommends the vaccine even to Americans who don’t want to receive it; however, the former president furthermore acknowledged that “freedoms” are something that Americans have to live by.

Many polls have shown that Republicans are less likely than Democrats to accept the coronavirus vaccine. However, reluctance and refusal to get this injection aren’t mutually exclusive to party lines; many first responders and other essential workers reject the coronavirus vaccine as well.

Therefore, the healthcare community is in a frenzy. They insist that the COVID-19 vaccine should not face any questions or skepticism whatsoever; the American public, however, harbors very different sentiments.

  • No. I thought Trump did a great job for our country. But the more we find out about the virus, it is nothing more than the flu. I can’t understand why Trump is recommending this for people. I will not take this poison.
